Mr Syed Ali Shahzad is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Trust. He completed Basic Surgical training in Oxford Deanery and Higher speciality training in General and Laparoscopic Urological Surgery in the West Midlands and has achieved fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Urol) and European Board of Urology (FEBU). Mr Syed Ali Shahzad has also undertaken various specialist and scientific courses in laparoscopic and laser procedures in Europe, South Africa and USA. Mr Syed Ali Shahzad assesses and treats patients with a range of urological conditions. He is expert in laparoscopic and laser surgery for prostate and stones but his services also include management of recurrent urinary tract infections, diagnosis and management of haematuria, raised PSA, erectile dysfunction, tight foreskin, epididymal cysts, fluid around the testes (hydrocoele), vasectomy for contraception, laparoscopic repair of varicocele. Mr Syed Ali Shahzad also specialises in the management of overactive bladder including botox injections into the bladder under local or general anaesthetic. He has specialist interest in conditions effecting bladder health leading to increased frquency and pain.
